Yard Marshalling, Mississauga

Our shunt drivers are required to maintain organized yards and have a thorough understanding of all trailers on-site.

It is the shunter’s responsibility to:

  • Keep all temperature-sensitive units in a designated area.

  • Perform on-site reefer checks to ensure proper fuel levels and temperature settings.

  • Ensure that reefer trailers placed in shipping docks are set to the required temperature before loading begins.

Shunt drivers will maintain a clear record of:

  • Empty trailers

  • Outbound trailers

  • Reefer trailers
All trailers will be placed in their designated locations to ensure a smooth, transparent, and efficient operation at all your sites.

At the end of each shift, the shunter will provide your designated personnel with a detailed report of the yard, including the status and location of all trailers.

Quick Moves Company drivers are also trained to:

  • Guide and assist outside carriers to maintain yard organization.

  • Ensure safety in high-traffic, congested areas, keeping the yard secure and operational at all times.

With Quick Moves Company, you can trust that your yard operations will be managed with precision, safety, and efficiency.
