Our shunt drivers are required to maintain organized yards and have a thorough understanding of all trailers on-site.
It is the shunter’s responsibility to:
Keep all temperature-sensitive units in a designated area.
Perform on-site reefer checks to ensure proper fuel levels and temperature settings.
Ensure that reefer trailers placed in shipping docks are set to the required temperature before loading begins.
Shunt drivers will maintain a clear record of:
Empty trailers
Outbound trailers
Reefer trailers
All trailers will be placed in their designated locations to ensure a smooth, transparent, and efficient operation at all your sites.
At the end of each shift, the shunter will provide your designated personnel with a detailed report of the yard, including the status and location of all trailers.
Quick Moves Company drivers are also trained to:
Guide and assist outside carriers to maintain yard organization.
Ensure safety in high-traffic, congested areas, keeping the yard secure and operational at all times.
With Quick Moves Company, you can trust that your yard operations will be managed with precision, safety, and efficiency.
